Elijah Lagg made his way to Pitt for a visit on Thursday and enters the program with one year of eligibility remaining. However, he is hoping to extend that by securing an additional year due to his background as a former junior college player. Beyond Pitt, he had also explored opportunities at Florida Atlantic University and North Texas, with a visit to Arkansas planned for the Saturday following his trip to Pittsburgh.
Standing tall at 6 feet 4 inches and weighing 240 pounds, Lagg had a productive junior season in 2025 while at UAB, where he was a key player in the American Athletic Conference. Over the course of 12 games, he recorded 20 receptions for a total of 164 yards, contributing significantly to his team with six starts under his belt.
Originally hailing from Mountain Home, Arkansas, Lagg began his football journey at the junior college level with Capioah-Lincoln. During his time there, he participated in 14 games, managing to secure seven receptions for 85 yards.
